Mario's B-400 model just completed a two week drying period. He sprayed the coat very fine, one or two coats a day. He did two coats of flat black, two coats of gloss black, and three coats of clear. He sands the dust between the fine coats. The majority of modelists do one or two thick coats, but that causes the dust to be more deeply imbedded in the paint and many of them don't sand it. That's not the case with this top notch modeler! |
He has already begun work on the figurines and modified the B.A.R. weapons like Clyde had. The frame and motor are done and the interior is painted, but not the details (dash, etc). Paint on the wheels are an apple green. |
